Hugo is a one of a kind puppy. No, not because he came from Ch Clarkcreeks Isabella Growlselini and Ch Goldstorm's Moving Force. It's because he has "IT" with capital letters. Hugo has the face, the smile, the body, the movement and the star quality that will make him a great show dog. He and his sister Isadora have had very successful show careers so far; Hugo was Winners Dog from the BBE class at the Greater Pittsburgh Golden Retriever Specialty under breeder-judge Kay Gosling for the major. The next weekend out Hugo again went Winners Dog from the BBE class, for the major, under judge Marjorie Martorella. Hugo has wins under four different breeder judges including Sue Peterman and Linda Stebbins.

And in Louisville, KY at the Evansville Kennel Club March of 2006 the boy picked up his third major under judge Anne Katona. Just one month later Hugo finished his Championship entirely from the Bred By Exhibitor class.

OH but Hugo had even bigger and better things in mind! The following weekend after finishing from BBE Hugo went on to a Best in Specialty Show at the Lenape Golden Retriever Specialty under breeder judge Barbara Pepper. He did this as a move up from the BBE class! He did all this at 26 months of age, a mere baby. In the two years since Hugo finished his AKC Championship title he has won multiple Specialty Best of Breeds all under breeder judges. His get have also won multiple Best in Specialty Sweepstakes and Best of Breed from the BBE class for a major and major wins from BBE at Specialty shows!! Hugo just seems to form a fan club where ever he goes. He is not as outgoing as his sister Isadora. He isn't as wild and full of himself as his sister Isadora. But he has this presence... Hard to describe the quality, but everyone seems to know he has it. We have been blessed with he and his sister's "presence" in our household.
